Dawley Wanderers Football Club – Est. 1993. Coaching children of all abilities – currently running sides at U9, U7 Girls, U11 Girls, U12 Girls, U12, U13, and U17. We are an England Football Accredited club playing in the Telford Junior League, Shropshire Girls League and Salop Leisure League.

Yesterday our 12 girls competed against a fantastic Baschurch FC U12 girls team.
All the hard work the girls have been putting in paid off and they came away with a very impressive 6-2 win.
They were really supportive of each other which is lovely to see, we heard a lot of positive comments and encouragement from them.
Maddie received parents player of the match. She worked tirelessly today and battled hard.
Ella received players player of the match, she was an incredible threat up front but also a fantastic team player in trying to give scoring opportunities to the other girls.
Ella C received coaches player of the match. She tried a new position in CDM and was calm and confident. She demonstrates an incredible ability to bounce back from defeat and get right back into things.
Captain today was Lottie.
A fantastic team performance from everyone.

It was a great game away for our Dawley Wanderers U11 girls against a combative Broseley side today!
The match was packed with fantastic opportunities and teamwork. The girls showcased some seriously good passing, great combinations, and kept a high focus to stay competitive right to the final whistle. We are very proud of the effort and spirit shown!

Our U12 girls played Albrighton away today, they were brilliant from the off and dominated the first half with some really good football. They took the lead with the score line in their favour at half time, 1-3
Unfortunately after half time Albrighton found their fire and the game finished 5-3.
Their passion, teamwork, and determination shine through every single week. They’re improving with every game, and it’s a real joy to watch them grow and enjoy their football journey together.
Players player was Jess who gave a fantastic account of herself today playing in a new role and taking it in her stride.
Coaches player was Willow who was strong and commanding in goal today, making some incredible saves, but also kept her composure and bounced back like a pro when we conceded.
Parents player was Layla, Layla is an incredibly hard working player who never stops running with or without the ball. Her passion and desire are evident in how she plays.
